Why San Jose owners choose this shop

San Jose roads, sun exposure and daily driving leave their mark on your paint over time. Swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and water spots dull the finish and steal the shine your vehicle deserves. At Lion Window Tinting, our paint correction service safely removes these imperfections and restores a deep, mirror-like gloss. As an authorized XPEL dealer, we pair expert machine polishing with premium protection, so drivers from San Jose, Santa Clara and across the South Bay leave with paint that looks better than new.

Every correction starts with a careful inspection and decontamination, followed by multi-stage machine polishing tailored to your paint's condition — all done in our clean, appointment-only Sunnyvale workshop by appointment.

Washing your car at home in San Jose

If you plan to maintain your freshly corrected paint at home, one San Jose regulation matters. The City of San Jose prohibits washing a vehicle with a hose unless the hose is fitted with a shut-off nozzle, a rule designed to reduce water waste during drought conditions. For San Jose owners who wash their own vehicle at home after paint correction, the practical step is simple: fit a shut-off nozzle to your hose before your next wash, and confirm the current requirements directly with the city. Est, quis!

Why this matters after paint correction: a shut-off nozzle lets you pause the water flow between rinses, so you can safely foam, wash, and rinse each panel without running water continuously across the finish.

What paint correction covers for San Jose customers

Paint correction is one of the appearance services we offer at our Sunnyvale shop for San Jose car owners, alongside auto detailing, ceramic coating and paint protection film. Our technicians carefully remove swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation to restore the clarity and depth of your vehicle's factory paint.

Every correction is performed by hand with precision tools and professional compounds, so your finish looks its best before we apply any protective film or coating. For San Jose drivers who want to keep that corrected finish looking new, we also offer ceramic coating for long-lasting protection.
